Wii update... big thanks to Crabby
it looks like most places are being sneaky with this now...
Gamestation online has them ready to sell, click on the listing (£179) and whn you go to checkout it informs you that you can't buy it on its own, you have to buy it as part of a package/combo
Game are the same, suddenly they can't get hold of just the Wii and Wii sports package, but they can sell me the package that's nearly £400
Doesn't look good for getting one before Xmas now

wouldnt worry stocks are slowely coming back in, there flying them over now so getting here, if you note prices on ebay etc are already dropping
i reserved two argos online for myself and bro in law then we ended up giving them cost price to family for crimbo as were desperate for there kids
so spose ill have to find more now, just ring game etc as they are coming in stock i bet there will be a fair few available soon

They had some in Canterbury yesterday in Game but they were £280 with 3 games, didn't bother buying one as the prices will come back down after Xmas.

A friend of mine saw them in stock in Game in Milton Keynes but the guy there said you could only buy in a bundle at £280 and was quite snotty about it basically its that or fuck all....... She phoned their head office and complained, they phoned said store and they told their own head office the same which wasn't company policy. Customer services arrange a Wii to be delivered to her loacl store for £179.99...... Funny thing is I picked 1 up wednesday for her last week and she also got 1 saturday as they phoned her friday saying her Wii was in the store awaiting collection....lol

i have got one brand new with reciept from virgin i was going to put it on e bay but i am being made to feel guilty by my children i am happy to sell it at retail price of £180 +p&p to someone who needs it for xmas for thier kids pm me if interested

i was in game near me yesterday and they had the packages there for sale i felt sorry for the sales assistant as they were getting quite a bit of grief about this
The problem is they have no control over what nintendo send them and the combo boxes are sent to them pre packaged by nintendo so they cant split them.

WII's IN STOCK THIS WEEK!!! Check out ya local shops and yep most places are only selling them as £400 packages. Thats cause not much profit on consoles alone, so make more cash on games due to the demand of the console.

Never mind the Wii i cant get hold of a bloody DS lite, only came back from holiday the other day where they had loads but i thought fuck it i'll just get 1 when i get home (its for me mum) been round meadowhall today every where sold out, tried loads of places on the net all sold out, only bloody ebay have them, Sister has allready bought Brain training 1&2 for it lol, Cant wait to see her face on xmas day, 2 new games and fuck all to play them on lol.

DS's are going into shops slowly. I know a few were delivered and sold over the weekend!
Wii's are apparently in this week (In BIG quantities).
Apparently Nintendo have been accused of creating a demand for the consoles and held them back to swoop the market at the last minute!! (Rumour Ive heard)
