Default Opinion (pet lovers)

Hi peeps,

Just had some bad news from the Vet and was going to see if anyone had been in the same situation.

My cat is about 6 months old and has been really lively until last week when it decided to keep hiding, however was still eating, anyway to cut a long story short the cat has been in the Vets since friday night on different kinds of antibiotics.

He is still lively however has a high temperature, the Vet has just come back to me and advised that they have found fluid on the abdomen, which is the sympton of FIP (Feline infectious peritonitis).

I've heard it is very deadly and quite common so I was wondering if anyone had experience of this infection and the cats rate of survival.

Any feedback is very much appreciated.
