Default Becoming a Gold Member
Just wondering, is it an annual payment, like 1st january each year? Or will my goldmember status be enforced for 1 year from the time my money is recieved?

a goldmembers fee was introduced to help towards the cost's of running the site... a donation if you like..

The site has/will be sold.. therefore no need to donate in the future..

i beleave this is one fucking rip off reduce goldmember fee to £10 then thay sell the site on i only paid it in september.

i bet it was reduced so thay can get more money quick before it gets sold on

If you two are so upset about paying £10 to recieve a service, and then recieving it as expected, i suggest you cancel sky tv etc in case they are silly enough to actually transmit the service to your tv and upset you tonight.

When it was reduced to £10,i paid 3 years of money to take me up to june 2010...i feel slightly cheated

Why? I doubt the new owners will scrap the membership scheme so nothing will have changed. (I am speculating, as i know as much about the sale as you do but they havent on any of their other aquisitions)

At the end of the day, if you PM Pet he will probably just give you a refund if your that bothered.

nothings going to change until it changes, so if you want to become a gold member then do so, it'll start when you pay the fee and just remember to add what your screen user name is to the paypal thing so that pet knows who's paying

then agian it might be someone else who's paying for it all

nothing in life is for free orlasts forever, somewhere along the line someone will be wanting to squeeze a penny from you
