They've tried to intervene so I heard on the radio but ultimately it's up to the government in the country where she's been charged as to what they do with her.

Yes I know it sucks but that's just the way it is.

 

the laws law... and i do believe that there is some very careful politcal negotiations going on to try and save her bacon... but as s aid, she should have read up on the law, its not acceptable for a muslim to come over here and break the law, so why is it acceptable for her to do it in sudan?

i understand the law is the law and no matter where you are you abide by laws of the land and i also understand how sensitive religion and especialy given the percieved racial tension issue.
