My neighbour had a lovely 328i coupe but the E36's are looking a little dated now, the R33 GTST are just ugly (there are a few nice kitted ones though) if it were me (although I hate the fuel the Subarus drink) I'd go for the Scoob

my local subaru dealer gets parts for my import on a next day basis at very reasonable prices. in some cases, kits of parts for imports work out cheaper than for UK models that you have to buy the parts separately for
