Default ADVICE PLEASE

Just bought a rear beam for my saff to clean up and fit some time next year ,was gonna get it shotblasted but the question is do i paint it or do i go for powder coating What are the pros and cons of this

Get it powder coated, its more durable... paint will chip easier

coat it all the way.

costs a bit more than a tin of paint but.

1, last alot longerand is very resistant to stone chips
2, finish is sooooo much better.

powdercoat

much more durable

mines done and have no problems whet so ever

only downside is yo have to take all bushes put else they will melt under the process, and put old bolts in holds, like abs sensor bolt etc to stop the powdercoat getting inside on the threads else its a bitch to get the screw in

edit pic of mine all built up and powdercoated

Not true, you can get a better finish with spraying

Powder coating I find matts off after a while
