What crisis are you expecting, make the correct decisions as you go along & theirs no reason to have a crisis.
Maybe ive not got to it yet although im well past mid-life .

Oh well, whatever, I think if you look it up though it isn't generally associated with people in their 20s, because you've basically still got your youth, wait til you get to my age. Ooh young man.

For the approximately 10% of middle aged adults who go through an age-related midlife crisis, the condition is most common ranging from the ages of 35-50 (a large study in the 1990s[5] found that the average age at onset of a self-described "mid-life crisis" was 46). Mid life crises last about 3-10 years in men and 2-5 years in women.
A midlife crisis could be caused by aging itself, or aging in combination with changes, problems, or regrets over:
work or career
spousal relationships
maturation of children
aging or death of parents
physical changes associated with aging

I'd be interested to know what the physical changes that you're getting are, I didn't have any adverse ones at your age. I am doing now though.
Bet you haven't got furry ears!

Yes, so it's not your age, it's that those sort of things have been happening that would normally happen to older people, yes? Sorry to hear that mate. Mine are similar.

Signed off for depression, anxiety and no sleep and the worst part is I have no job but im still working there doing petty little jobs. Its shit, I used to love being in the forces, but the last 2 years has changed me as a person, and I fucking hate it, the moral is shit, the managers are pricks and what am I working for?! nothing.. They wont let me go earlier either
I cant leave till June, but because Ive been signed off, it may work in my favour and be let out by Feb.. With leave on top of that I wont be back after christmas
The sooner I get out that shithole and get back to normal the better.. It just seems to be dragging though like its never going to end
But shit happens I guess don't it
makes me laugh when people say "oh its only a few month mate, just put your head down and get on"
I've been doing that for the last 18 months

Gotta agree with a couple of those, works shit , been a mechanic since I
left school, too old - in debt to retrain now.
Been with my mrs since I was 18, ain't nothing we ain't done or talked
about before now.
My kids are 13,11 and 9, but it only seems like yesterday they were
smiling toddlers, not the miserable moaners they can be now ,and you
don't want em to grow up in this shithole of a world nowadays
My old mans 77 and going strong, but dread him leaving me !
And I am 44 ,things definitely do start going downhill @ 40

find something to look forward to and things do get easier when the goal is getting closer and closer
all this mooping about doesn't clear you from the cycle of depression so you keep feeling like shit
easy enough to say i know, but i've been through it years and years ago and it's much easier to give up than it is to carry on with the struggle
think of it as climbing a mountain, when you get to the top it's all downhill and easy freewheeling from then on just don't think of it as a big drop
enjoy life for the moment every once in a while, but don't say "sod the consequences" as that's just asking for trouble

I've been in crisis for years but I know now that most of the bad in my life has been caused by my own recklessness. I used to want to blame everyone and everything when I felt things were shit but I have really grown up over the last 12 months....
Things aren't great yet but they soon could be and I'm a pretty happy person these days for the most part. I think anyone that remembers how I used to be on here can see that.
My biggest prbs have been fucking up uni, leaving my career too late and being pissed off now because at my age (25) I feel like I should be earning more and being in a little bit of debt.
I also have a really bad fear of growing older.
But it's not the end of the world. I have my health, I have my friends, and it's all stuff (besides the ageing ) that I have the power to change. Having wiped out loads of debt in the last couple of years I am about to get rid of my car finance and trim it down further and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Chin up folks we could all be dead

My brother is 25 and is going through a stage at the moment , he worries about relatives dying and stuff like.... why are we here? What happens when we die etc etc . Been like this for a few month, since his first child was born. Sure it will pass though.
