Default Foo Fighters @ Wembley Sat 7th June 2008...

Missus just announced she wants to goto this so thought i'd treat her for xmas... Thing is i was a bit too late on the pick-up and this has left me with the only available tickets are up in the highest tier...

The level 1 + 2 sections seem to be alright but they've all fuckin gone! and are selling for double the price on the bay.... Damn it!

Would be it be worth getting a high tier? As i don't wanna buy these and be so far away it's not worth the hassle...

here's a layout..

i sat in the tier 2nd from the top to watch england-brazil. the view is brilliant of the pitch, and was ok for watching footty, but for looking at someone on a stage at the opposite end you wont be able to see diddley mate.

but there is big screens and you would be in the atmosphere.

better off paying more to a tout on ebay for a seat lower down to be honest.

where we were sat you could just about make out footy players faces when they were taking a corner at our end of the pitch. we had binoculors but using them just aint the same lol

Went to see Metallica at Wembley earlier in the year & sat in section 523 iirc (was around that area anyway).

OK the people on stage are far enough away so that you can't make the the details out but you can see them moving around & as has been said they have decent size screens. The sound was pretty good but the atmosphere was amazing

Got tickets for the Foos on Friday & am in the same section again so not worried at all tbh.

Not seen them since V97 festival in Leeds, those were the days LOL.

Actually, just noticed something, is the layout you posted the actual layout for the Foos gigs? As when I saw Metallica the stage was at one end of the stadium (on the left as you look at the piccy) but if the stage is gonna be in the middle of the pitch (somehow!) then the view will be even better!

Me and the missus are going to see Bon Jovi at Twickenham in June.

We are sitting in "L3"

Ł170 for the two tickets though.

Might have to take some ear plugs with me lol

Nice one!

In that case I wouldn't worry about having a seat in the top tier as the tiers aren't as spread out as the picture would suggest they are built slightly over one another so even though you on 3rd tier you're not too far away from pitch/stage

Just need to book a hotel now

Don't need a hotel as missus's cousin lives in Brondesbury which is apparently not far from there

hence why she thought would be a good idea..

I didn't get the nod when i wanted to watch the footie there though
