Default RS500 current prices?

how much can these be bought for these days?

not after a concourse example justa good genuine Rs500 that I can use from time to time, not a garage queen but genuine with history etc.

Have seen a few for sale rfecently, but how much are they actually changing hands for?

thanks

As stuart says , look to start at aprox 15k and work upwards

These cars are very very popular now and are probs one of the best investments you can put your hard earned into

The most important thing to check is that its a real 500 , there are many replicas out there that carry all the correct parts but are std 3 doors

If you see one you like then feel free to call me and i can check if its the real deal

ps, I am the rs500 registrar if you wondered how i would know

just swap the engine on yours, it would be as nice as a 25k RS500 then without the premium

i think owing a 500 now is more of an investment that actually the pleasure of driving one, as owners are now too scared to use them incase they damage them.

shame

Not quite the same though Paul as it would still only be a rep. But is it worth the extra $ to have a real one.......

I think so

Your right though Ryan I would be afriad to use it!! dont think I would be cutting no arches to fit 18" on a real one!!

Sold mine last year, had only done 22k from new and was concours, when i picked the car up i was so dissapointed, i had just sold my new FRS to buy it and it was just slow as i was used to stage 3 cossies that id had before.
i had it stage 3'ed and it totally transformed the car, i mean why have an RS500 that could get blown into the weeds by a skoda. I painted the injectors yellow and still showed it in standard class and even took it to the ring one year, however i was so scared of parking it up and someone damaging it i couldnt enjoy it, i wanted to do some track days and actually drive the car so it had to go. I would have another but not in that condition, would try and find a scruffy one but for the money i just dont think they are worth the premium over a 3dr.

thats only because you were selling it paul

cos500,

yes i completely agree, a 500 in the same condition as mine would be 25k+ i paid under half that for mine and can use mine and not have to worry to much.

mines a stg 3 and its abosultely awesome fun as a road car.
