It isnt how you spell it, but I will let you look that up!

IMHO the E46 M3 would probably be at the front of the pack, followed by the evo then the cossie

Ditto, but depends on the driver of each car, so in essence a silly question to ask

If the cossie suspension was allowed to be modified then it would be very close.

Maybe less than 20secs separating all three cars.

It probably wouldn't be the power that decided on the result, what is the weight difference between the cars?

cheers

kenny.

the M3 will be hard pushed to get in front of the Evo.

The cossie is 10yrs older than both the Evo and M3 so would probably surprise everyone. Having said that it still needs the extra 100ps more than std and the suspension modified.

It's surprising just how little difference there is when the cars are timed. On such a long track, tyres, pressures and temp plays a big role.

In this case, nobody down the pub could say his or her car is faster.

Example.
2 miles uphill 5-8%, 11 corners, 1 hairpin.

Escos 290ps. (my car). 1m 25.6s (1100kg)
M3 GpA. 1m 22.44s (probably less than 1200kg)
Subaru Gp A 1m 27.4s (not sure)
Evo 8 1m 28.1s (noy sure)

Peugeot GpA kit car 1.25.05s (approx 900kg)?

sorry to go on a bit.

I vote the M3.

People forget how stable a platform it is.

Bearing in mind that csl (so basically a lighter m3 with cup tyres on) did 7:40 ish full lap...
