What Happened to the Turbosystems cars !!
I know someone bought Turbosystems legendary Saff Cossie 'Desert Storm' and broke it, but what happened to the engine and box ?
and what of the other Turbosystems cars, the tiger stripped Saff Cossie 'Snowstorm' and the tiger stripped Escos 'Rallye Storm' do these cars still exist and are they the same specification as when associated with Turbosystems ?
Just curious, really loved these cars

That car was somthing differant , it was thundersalloon
inspired and at the time probably the only road car like it (1990/91. ish)
i have been in a few turbosystems prepared cars and fcuk me
they went well, one mate spent all his dough at the place and took me
out in his car and it was eye opening quick.
imo the dessert storm car was the best when crystal blue with gold
revolutions, gold twin headlights and the tiger stripes.
much better than the wide arch look

best person to ask is the big cheese of Turbosystems, he comes on here
but from what i have noticed never on posts regards himself or his
company,
i get a motorsport weekly called Motorsport News and saw a ad for
Turbosystems last week for the Mitsubishi stuff they do.
funny that seeing as he's called Mitsi Fq on here

unless you pay a traders fee we are not aloud to use our company names in any shape or form.
Snow storm was out and about the other week and passed it's MOT.It lives in a warm secure warehouse not in the garden.
alot of big power cossie customers choose to keep their cars and spec a secret
we are currently building 2 massive spec white sapphs and an escort cossie you won't hear of or see these cars.
Dereks sapph has even more parts on it now and is owned by a cosworth enthusiast who has a collection of cars. Kevin didn't manage to get his hands on this one
The fact remains that these cars make twice as much money if they are sold for spares.
kev's 3 door has all the best parts on it and is called Dessert Mc Storm

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
Went in both the sapphire and the escort many moons ago and still remember it clearly to this day, phenomenal cars both of them PERIOD .
Did exactly what it said on the tin
The sapphire ecu fell out of the dash when accelerating (like a surface to air missile) and the escos had a baby seat flying around in the back whilst we were travelling up the by bypass . This was about 1993 iirc

I went out in a couple of these cars in the late 80's and early 90,s and they were unbelievable.
Even managed to get a drive of the Escort
Still the fastest cars I have been in.
