as ive said before ive been on a few times but when i scroll down and see 5-8 users i just leave, if everyone isnt bothered then nobody will ever go on it.

You need to say to everyone right this site IS closing and everyone needs to use the other site if they want to browse, i think thats the only way

What is the point of the new forum?

I was on for alot of yesterday and it was cool during the day BUT as per the normal site as it approched the later hours of the day it was coming up a error

This thread calls for as many people as possible to go and test the new forum but to me it lloks as it cant handle anymore than about 30 users at once? as the error I was getting was "too many connections"

Euan, the point is that we need to all give it a good spanking to see if it will hold up to PF's usual load.

Just like a car, there may be theething problems after a new build so the fact that is crashes is good for Pet to know, he can get on with fixing the problem, rather than just migrate and find it's not up to the job and piss everyone off in the process
