i.m likeing the new features stu and i really appreciate the efforts you and pet are putting in just to shut up the moaners who seem to think pf is real life
thing i find strange is not that hard to test out all people need todo is have one web window on normal pf so they dont miss anything really inportant
and have the test version open in anougher window simple then test one gets full of users so can test what its like loaded up and they can still post on normal pf

I went on a few times but nothing was happening on there so came back on here. Best thing to do would be to shut this one down forcing people to go on the other one, that will test it surely?

lee the point i think stu is trying to make is he needs just to go on fart around post on any thread just to try the software out
as most of the threads on there are years old as it using a pf database from 2004

You say your dissapointed with not getting help on this situation Stu. Well ive got to ask how you feel about people who have paid 20 quid for a site what kept slowing down and crashing for at least 11 or 12 months now. Dont you think they/we are a bit dissapointed with this happening all the time and nothing being done about it?
Id do anything to help if i could but perhaps some just cant be arsed after all this time of slow downs and errors?
Just a view of what some might be thinking.

the amount of errors i personaly got did not bother me in the slightest
and i can remember when paul at north yorks was having major troubles logging in and speed issues and at that point pf for me was flying with no errors at all

I saw the email, clicked the link, site wouldn't load. So I went to "normal" PF, got onto the Gen Dis page, tried to click a thread, got a Critical Error. Left it a few mins, tried again : Critical Error. So I gave up and went to watch TV....

yup just been there ,seems ok , just when you put the curser on a thred ,it just tells you the date it was posted ,doesnt give you a pop up of some of the thred , is this just temp or would this be how it would be ???
i dont often get error message any way so it doesnt rlly matter to me
but for the info and help about mechanical and varoius things ,and some of the bargins in the for sale section i am happy to pay gold mebership , i do seem to be on my own though

1: Post a reply on stating you would like the 'hover' function back.
2: Notice that's already been brought up but seeing as you couldn't be bothered to look then wouldn't see it.
Seems ok..yet you're back here without noticing something like this.
What did you do? Look at the main page & go "oh, different colour & you can't view the topic when hovering. Right back to the updated PF."
What is wrong with people. Get on there and off here even for 1/2 hr and get posting and see what's what!!!

No probs Gary. net speech can easily be taken the wrong way as there's no emphasis like real speech you hear.
