is there anyway of restricting the steering on a mk3 esc?

Default is there anyway of restricting the steering on a mk3 esc?

just asking as my 17's are et35 and 7j but rub on full lock, they only have 205/40/17's on so im guessing this is norm? just wondered it steering can be restricted at all as ive had all underneath threated and dont want to rub off stone chip in arches, cheers guys

mine was same buddy i just never had it on full lock

3 point turn went into 8

Remove steering rack.......

remove gaitors from each end then.....

Get someone to fill between the last 2 teeth at each end with weld.....

And bob's your uncle!!!!!

BMWs that had big wheels fitted at BMW had lock restrictor rings fitted to the rack to stop em getting full lock.

Basically to pass an MOT, as rubbing fails an MOT.

Most people of sound body and mind just dont turn the wheel as much.

Sport Kas also had lock restrictors fitted from the factory if thats any help.

lock restrictors on an 80s escort.... the standard turning circle is a nightmare to start with on them!
