Am I right to be concerned? - Update 19/11/07
Lad on another car forum I use has fitted a new set of wheels but to prevent catching he has knocked himself up a set of 6mm wheel spacers.....
.... out of plywood
*Update* He says they are fine as he doesn't exceed 50mph

Right now he might be joking but I know someone who done something equally as bad if not worse
He got himself some wheels for his Fiesta Turbo and they weren't Ford fitment so he used 3 washers on each stud to space the wheels out
When he turned up at my work in it and showed me I was shocked that anyone at his work allowed him to do it as he works for a engineering firm

I think he's barking up the wrong tree, i wooden be surprised if he tried to make them fit his forest arches, but at the price I suppose they were a teal...... sounds like a bit of a plank to me, but what wood I know? I think he has tried chipping as well, but also wants to branch out into other areas, such as fir on the seats, but this idea seems to be ingrained into his trunk-ated thinking Lets just hope his oak-er enthusiasm dosn't mean he will end up in a pile of ash, pineing for his car, being logged by the police, or even worse end up as a copse....good job bonfire night has gone or he could get done for tree son as well..
