about 2 weeks ago i bought a wing mirror for the "buy it now" price
all done and dusted

then i reread the description and found that i was at fault for buying somethng that i didn't actually want (probably because i had a few windows open and bought the wrong things really but either way, it's my fuck up)

so i sent the seller a message explainging that i'd made a mistake and, if it were acceptable, i would happily cover any fees he had encoured as a reslut of the sale and he could put it back up for sale again

no reply after 24 hours

i then sent him another message

again, no reply

so i sent an email to the address he had provided on the auction

no reply

and now, 2 weeks later, he's started a "non payment" thing with ebay and ebay have said "mail the seller and sort it that way otherwise it'll be the evils for you"

how do i tell ebay that the seller hasn't actually responded to any of the messages/emails i sent him?

or do i send yet another message saying the same thing and hope it works before resorting to somethng else?

or do i just fuck it off (like i really feel like doing because the guy's not had the decency to actually answer me) and take the consequences?

here is the message i've sent 3 times:

Hi there, I've just bought a wing mirror from you and may have made a bit of a boo boo.

Is it the electric folding mirror or just an electric mirror? I was after the electric folding version really and if it's not then is it possible to retract the buy it now?

Obviously if it is the mirror I'm after I'll pay for it and if it isn't I'll pay for any relisting fee's you may be charged.

Once again, please accept my apologises for this mistake on my part.

i've got until november the 24th before i get a further bollocking from ebay

Cant be any farer than that TBH, when ebay send you a message cant you reply to ebay stating you had contacted him ?

not really
all i can file with ebay is a report saying that i haven't recived the item or it was a pile of wank

there isn't an option i can pick that says "seller won't communicate with me"

i'm going to go the "book" route this time around, but it seems that they are always on the other persons side, paypal when my money went missing, ebay the last time the guy said he'd buy a set of wheels from me and was coming over form holland to get them when i said collection only and not outside the uk and even waited for him and he never got back to me, etc, etc
