theyre actually good, they clean up the tank by eating algae etc but i personally dont like the look of the small common snails.
We had the same problem you have now in one of our smaller tanks, the thing with snails is they can change their sex, meaning they multiply very easily. In the end we completely stripped and cleaned the tank, put new gravel in to eliminate the snails.
always rinse your plants thoroughly under the tap to rinse off snails etc before putting them into your tank.

Had them before, Same thing came in with a real plant. The fookers were every where after a few weeks, Thousands of them. I tried all the stuff to kill them and they still reappeared. Don't know if they do any harm but they look shite.

easy way to get rid is to get a 'clown loach' fish.. they absolutely love them.. even if you have hundreds, guarantee they will all be gone in a week... nice fish too...

there bastards, a few is cool but i ended uo INFESTED with the fucking things, tryed everything even boiled the stones and the fuckers STILL managed to come back

no the tank was,, but we couldnt seem to get rid of the fucking things,, was taking NO chances
also aint got a fish tank either
