235/45/17 Dunlop DO1j/ Jaguar 10" Diff/ Zoo rear beam kit. This will give you grip.
What gearbox /Diff are you running, please dont say Standard or i will start laughing.
600bhp will also require a Tremec TKO gearbox or similar.
Just for the record in case anyone was wondering (I doubt anyone is that interested), the engine was built by Carwise UK (me). The most important part of extracting power though, was carried out by The great man Karl Norris i.e. the headwork. Carwise has had a lot of heads done in the past, admittedly only about 40% of them Cosworth (I also do quite a few Nissans, RX7 s etc) but I have never seen heads like the ones Karl turns out. They should be on show instead of hidden inside an engine bay, but that is where they do their job so well. The engine is strong and smooth and it revs like nothing I have ever driven. This is down to the head and map. Big Respect mate you have done another great job. Karl does heads for most of the big power cars you hear of (not sure about yours though Rod) but alas being companies they rarely say who does their head work. Carwise UK builds engines, set ups etc etc, but ALL MY HEADWORK IS CARRIED OUT BY KARL. Also some mapping probs that need an engine designers expertise. I just wanted to clear this up as I didnt want to try and kid anyone I ported the head because I did not. All Carwise heads are prepared by NMS PERIOD.
Thanks folks and sorry to bang on.
Also you said not sure about Rods head in who had worked on it I can asure you it was not this person you are talking about,
I look forward to seeing your car tested In P F mag if you are interested in showing people how fast it is.

Wow! sounds mental...
Rod is giving some good advice there. A turbo of that size, blowing that hard at that rpm through an awesome NMS head like that is going to produce HUUUUGE bhp so STOP considering cheap shit joke tires like 225 Falkens
and get some serious rubber and a serious set up on the rear and harness the power properly
Unless you do have a standard diff and box then I would recommend some 15 year old rock hard 155 tyres from a Citroen AX
Good luck

Out of interest does Karl do all of the cylinder headwork himself or is the actual machining done elsewhere. I heard a rumour somewhere the other day however thought it be best to ask the man himself instead of going on info supplied in form of chinese whisper?
Alg1k - until someone beats Rodney his is the fastest road legal cossie out there. If or when someone does then they deserve all the credit however until then with the greatest respect claims are simple claims mate!
Cheers - Sunny.

Rod"
I like that attitude Rod.
Taking on the rocket ron at the top speed game is a decent challenge
game on

Ive asked. begged & threatened to try to get such a match but its been turned down mate. He can do 280 on the B2459 in about 600feet but it wont run at Brunters apparently, maybe its too far South

Rod
Gus the recharge time for a coil running at high RPM and High cyl pressure are very short, When running this type of engine the Ignition side of things are very important.

Whys that then. The aim is to go as fast as possible not nearly as fast as possible. Will probably use special fuel next time, Will use the same as Martins 195 run. Think he said it was Optimax, must find the Shell garage he uses.
