[quote="rallycross"]just to add to that, as it sounds a bit anti cossie,, I reckon a good 4wd saphire, with some nice upgrades, is one of the best things you could get say for £5k pound for pound.

just wanted to make the point its not fair to compare an old Cossie to the latest stuff, its two different era's.

I'm lucky enough to have owned them both, plus various Subaru's, bmw M's etc so I've got a balanced view of how they compare.. heres some of them

Is that scooby a P1 ? My mates just bought one, great car

Its not just the money though of course I love the charater of the cosworths and the pedigree, plus im just an 80’s throw back anyway!! Now where’s my DepecheMode CD
If you cant find the CD mate i will lend you mine , its under my Spandau ballet cd

EVO's are great cars and if i had to own a jap car i'd have the EVO over a scooby anytime.
The only stumbling point for me with both japs cars is that IMO they are just plain ugly....i guess mitsubishi knew they couldn't improve on an ugly car so they spent thier time and money on the mechanics..after all you can't polish a turd can you!
