apparently junior is allergic to soemthing, but we don't know what so me, the mrs and obviously junior, have spent the last few hours figuring out what it could be

he's been pumped full of drugs to stop the inflamation and the swelling and lumps and stuff and now thelittle blihter is in the bath, having finally removed his puke covered clothes from his mother

it's never nice seeing your little kids being ill, but full marks to the docrots who looked at him over the past few days, he was in last thrusday for his eyes, then on monday for his head and now for his alergy

looks like he's going to be allergic to nuts or soemthing so has anyone got any ideas what containts nuts?

he's also going to have an allergic pen thing from the docrots so that makes 2 of us

but really i'm so glad he's ok

Tommy's been a bit ill with all sorts of 'ordinary' stuff just lately - proper sad when you really can't do much for them

He's been much better and pretty much back to his happy self this week though

when i was younger caburys caramel was doing a special offer where you could win a cd walkman years ago can you remeber?
anyway it was 5 bars for a pound

and i spent a fiver on chocolate bars to try and win it

instead of opening them and looking inside i ate them got an elergic reaction to the caramel was awfull got lumps and a rash been sick and i still did'nt win

Lots of things contains nuts, or nut traces, or possibly made in a factory that also deals with nuts - but it should be on any food labelling.

I remember when my brother was about a year old and had a bad allergic reaction, he went bright red and couldnt breath propperly and the rash was awfull and it turned out to be........ eggs!!!

and update for this morning:

he's still a little red, but he's otherwise ok, now all i've got to do is sift through all the things he's eaten yesterday and make sure i give a list to the docrot on mondey morning so that he can do his tests etc
got to go there to sort out an epipen (sp?) just in case it happens again, which also reminds me that i should really be carrying mine about as well with me more often

sorry to hear, hospitals are rubbish these days, finley was in for a few days last month but they couldnt find what was wrong with him so sent him home after 3 days

i must admit that ealing hospital is great for kids
for adults the waiting time is a bit much but with all 3 timse he's been in this past week he's been seen within minutes by the triage nurse team so

i don't know how other hospitals compare because i don't know if they have a seperate kiddies a+e section
