im not 100% but i think they look in to it all for you then will give the seller a notice then charge them via pay pal and refund you that way.

Yes they can, I had the same situation regarding an item I purchased. Paypal payed me and thay take the money from the sellers account. However if they do not have enough funds you may end up with a part payment but this is unlikely

HAve had the same happen, for reasons beyond my control (let my sis use my account ) I didnt realise "I" hadnt paid for summit the guy started a dispute and I tried to pay him the money and it wouldnt let me untill I had responded to him , recon it must take the ok from them they are willing to accept the payment, so maybe you will receive summit from paypal asking if you still want his money

bet you only see £77 of that (if you're lucky)

Paypal are just acting as the middle men, they clear out the account, give you back your money less their admin fee. They make money and don't owe anyone anything so don't give a fuck and close the case

I reckon paypal are taking you for a ride mate. I had a mate once who sold a phone but never sent it and after a couple of months had paypal on his back claiming they had refunded the seller and he now owed them the amount.
Seem to remember a lot of people complaing about paypal not giving full refunds a few years back. Does sound like bull because why would people just bank a small amount (15 quid in your 2 cases) of thier paypal account and leave most of it in ? ?
Paypal law unto themselve basically.
