As title, trying to find out some information for a friend of mine with regards to what his options are for finding them secondhand?

Also, anyone got a compressor map or other useful info for them?

 

25g I think is used by Mitsubushi. Horrid turbo if it's the same one as I think it is. Compressor map and surge line are horrid.

 

Mitsubish made turbos, so fitted to countless japanese cars/trucks.

TD04s and TD05s are fitted to some Subarus, Lancers, etc etc.

TD06s are larger, with 25g's being GT35 sort of size, good for 600bhp+, dont think any car comes with em standard, mostly come in Trust/Greddy turbo kits.

 

Yeah its made by mitsibushi Sunny, but like Stav stays, they make turbos for loads of people inlcuding some volvos I believe.

Ah, didnt realise it was purely a truck/aftermarket turbo, cheers!

 

I know of someone who used a 25g on a zetec engine, although it made 466hp on the dyno it was a seriously $h!t turbo which surged like a b!tch and took ages to come onto boost. It was later replaced with a GT30 which totally transformed the engine in every aspect using exactly the same spec.
