Never quite worked him out, one minute he was seemingly limitless in his knowledge, then the next he was talking nonsense arguing with Jaycos about ported heads and sounded like he didnt have a clue on something so basic, really weird.

I agree with Chip, sometimes you read what he puts and think, yep, this bloke REALLY knows his stuff and then other times, he posts strange stuff (like being able to get 550bhp out of four yellows by switching to a batch fire ECU ), and you think WTF?

Anyway, despite this, he is always very helpful to everyone he meets, but just like Chip (and me ), I have been told he can rub people up the wrong way .

 

Its normally the same bunch that always seem to be offended and upset by all the different people Mike!
I think some of the little darlings are probably just a bit to insecure/fragile to really be communicating with people out in the outside world and Tabatha should feel quite safe to totally ignore their "issues" so I hope that isnt his reason for not being on here lately as that would be a victory for the whinging tossers over the genuinely helpful!

other than some of his views being slightly more than a bit wrong, in my oniopn at least, people have either liked him or loathed him

Yep, even the gearbox for the Veyron is just the same item from the Skoda 1.9 V-RS diesel engine (but beefed up slightly so that it can take the torque) .
