its only illegal if you buy the id and use it for anougher car

I'm not actually sure if it is legal - there was a tale on one of the Mini forums about all the Mini IDs on sale at an autojumble and a DVLA guy quietly wandering around, noting down all the registration numbers, and cancelling them.

Whether it's legal or not, it certainly isn't right.

I think the police should follow things like this up. Im sure they'd find some dodgy cars/activity going on somewhere. They should definatly look into the buyers, sellers and even the bidders imo.

Private plate - since the As came in, any 1-20 number + things like 100, 111, etc are for sale instead of free issue.

To me that auction makes no sense !

Its either a Car ID or a Private Plate.. Obviously being a 1988 Car A Reg
is Private, but you need to transfer the plate separately to the car i think.

Craft sod have covered the REG
