im having trouble with my laptop. Its running XP and the drivers for my laptop graphics card keep crashing it with the 'blue screen of death'.
i can stop it crashing by uninstalling the card but this leaves me with slow graphic, mostly noticable when scrolling up or down a web page. it gets really annoying waiting for it to catch up !!! (throw it out of the window annoying!)
the microsoft fix is new drivers, but it does nothing. it still crashes with the new drivers.
im thinking of installing windows vista to try and resolve my problem but i only have 704 mb of ram not the 1024 recommended amount. will having less ram make vista unusable ???
Any other helpful info would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Have you tried other drivers? sometimes theres different versions, you dont HAVE to get the lastest as long as their not like a year old, a few months old is ok.
