Ive got one mate, deep blue. Nice car really, there heavy so not as fast as youd hope for a 3.2 v6 but it sure is comfortable on long journeys. Fuel is nothing short of poor, expect 22mpg. Problems wise theres nothing that shouldnt have already been sorted out on them by now. The ecu needs updating (warranty issue) to a certain number, cant remember off hand. The fans often cook themselves (the controller that is). The top mounts for the front shocks are prone to failing on early ones, again should have been changed on recalls etc. None of them too serious though, just make sure its on the latest ecu software as it did make a huge difference to mine.
3 doors look the best but be aware that the front seats are too big for the car so when you want to get someone in the back the front seat gets stuck between the sun visor and the windscreen and you've got to fanny about getting it out although they are properly nice seats. Brakes are expensive.
Overall they are a nice car, and suitable for your purpose, my missis loves it to bits. Selling mine shortly if you decide your in the market for one

Love them. It's just a shame they don't go like the feel like they're about too, ie when you put your foot down it's a nice instant snap of grunt and you think 'here we go' then it just sort of plods on.
I really like them though, the sound is awesome, love the seats and spec, steering wheel is great and feels nice and chunky.
I think a supercharged one would be a great car.
