Default workshops / garages......

We're moving in the next few weeks and I'll be getting a new garage / workshop built at the house.

Could you post some pics of your (or anyone elses !!) workshops/garages to give me some ideas please !

Also, whats the best idea for the floor, painted or tiled or any other suggestions ???

Cheers !
David

I tiled my workshop floor.

personally I hate painted floors, you could use epoxy coatings. My mate used stuff up Heathrow that is forklift ready in 20 minutes so it must be durable.

Paint is the cheap option.

I looked at plastic tiles, but they were dear and once they were alight they kept burning

I'd post pics of my workshop but it's a mess. It is 2 deep, 2 wide though with a work bench along one side for 14 feet.

Wife won't let me extend it though.....

Have a look on here - especially the gallery. It's American, but a good read.

Thats a good point but the garage will be around 4-5 metres from the house.
