Any idea what the wheelbase of a cosworth sierra 3dr and sapphire and Escort cosworth is ?
also what the biggest wheels you can use on the front are likely to be too .

escort it 50mm shorter

 

wheelbase, 2608 mm (102.7 in) sierra i think

 

which one do you want to know about the wheels on too?the sierras will need more arch mods than an escort.

you prob know more than me marco but i thought the escort was 60mm shorter?not that it will matter much.

 

its just to take some base settings from really , so far the sierra is 2630mm and the Escort is 2530mm .
im really only interested in the Escort for wheel sizes as ive a bit of a project going on that might be interesting .

 

with coilovers people seem to be getting 19" on if that helps?

theres defo only roughly 2" in the wheel base between the sierra and escort cos it's not 4" no way

 

cheers Marco , it was the std wheelbase that you already gave me , my cars run loads more caster , infact so much that i'd forgottem where i started from !!!
so far ive got 11" wide front wheels , the 12" wide rears should go on next week , looks fkin awesome too .

Yeah , apparently its only my wife that thinks that 2" will make any difference at all .
shes always called me Justin anyway , lol
dont think it'll be a problem to be honest , its got the biggest wheels ive ever seen fitted so grip wont be an issue , lots of grunt and a sequential box and its light as well .
Oh , its also the Romanian hill climb car champion of 2006 !!
