I was walking about in London yesterday, when I walked past this shop that had a white 3dr in the window..

Was 1:18 I think and cost me 25 quid.. Which I thought was a bargain..

Are there others as wouldnt mind getting the cosworth set.. they had another 3 door but with in a grey like colour.. didnt look like moonsone

if ure looking to buy a 3door, go for autoart theyre much better. will cost u a bit more but its worth it mate. ull find loads(autoart) on ebay too

Compare the Minichamps 3dr to the Autoart one and you instantly see why the Autoart one costs twice as much.
It is twice as good, personally i didn't waste my money on a poor model (Minichamps), bought the Autoart well worth the extra cash.

 

the autoart 3drs are they by far the best ones too get,well worth spending that bit extra

yeah the minichamp one I have is a bit shyte to be honest, even the ecort mk1

but I bought a nice capri and an esco(minichamps), theyre more serious than the likes of this sierra.

As part of a collection, in a cabinet, I can't justify spending over double for the same plain white sierra. Don't get me wrong, I have a couple of the expensive ones too, but only because they are not available in a cheaper version.

99 out out 100 people won't spot the things that are wrong.

they both use the same moulds so the shells are the same i just think the autoart ones have a little more detail in the engine bay and interior and supposedly more life like if you can forget the fact its really a 1/18 model
the autoart one looks heavier westy im sure you would smoke them

Westy That 3dr you bought came in 3 colours white, black & moonstone. Detail on them is a bit crap but not bad models can't understand why its got a cosworth sticker on the quater panel.

Ryan_3 Nice selection of models if you want a better mk1 escort get the Avo you won't be dissapointed Also you mention Sunstar the models might be cheap but are actually pretty good as they do all the different rally versions of the mk2 escort & the xr3

Compare an Autoart 1 to a Minichumps 1 and you'll see the difference.... I have the 3 colours in Autoart (3dr Cossie) and I looked the other week at a Minichump std white 3dr..... Cosworth decals are in the wrong place , 500 front bumper and rear upper spoiler, tyre profiles are too big look like 60 profile instead of 50.... imo a shite model compared to Autoart, go buy the Minichump 1 if you want some under 5's to play with it and keep the Autoart 1 for the display cabinet...

Only ever seen one model RS Turbo and it was a metal kit. Really expensive and it really wasn't all that good either for the excessive price.
