Default Pass Plus

Done my pass plus a couple of weeks ago cos alot of my friends did it and found it not only insightful, but they also got a discount on their policy, so got my certificate this morning and found that the insurer imn woth wont give me a dicount but they do recognise the course, just seems like a joke really. anyone else find this?

not all companies give you fuck all off for it mate, just way it is.

i found ringing round for best quote did a lot more than people who went for pass plus.

on the bright side, now im a "bit" older and have full no claims i have managed to insure my 2.6 twin turbo mega modded drift car with mods declared for under 500quid, 45quid more than the sierra GLX i had on the same policy beforehand!

TBH i just lived with high insurance for a few years, and now, fuck me, everythings cheap!

shouldnt be too bad mate, depending what you want?

i remember 1st getting quotes at 18 for 4.5k+ to insure my R5GTT, got it down to 1.5k in the end, same as what other were paying on tiny engined shitboxes etc.

same as cossie, at 20 i was having quotes of 5k+ and got em down to 1.5k again, and R5GTT was only 600notes by then

KW rscos - Who you insured with now? If its the same company as me I wont bother doing the course because I cant be arsed changing all my details over and my current insurer is pretty good.

I think the company is red rock, but its through kwik-fit, (await onslaught of mockery) but it was the cheapest i could find, that and I live in Swansea so insuarnce is a pain anyway, but I want a cossie when i can afford it, so just building up the NCB, what sort of insurers got you down to 1.5k Stav?
