19 X 7 alloy pics - opinions and advice please

Default 19 X 7 alloy pics - opinions and advice please

You may remember I was looking for a 19 X 7.5 Dare V4 as one of mine has cracked for the 3rd time and the others are getting shabby so I came across a set of 19 X 7 Arospeed RS GT's for an absolute song, so much so that I thought I'd get them and fit them up and see what to do as regards spacing etc

I know that they are going to look a little skinny at the back, the fronts should be fine using my current 215/35's all round.

Should I look at 10-15mm hubcentric spacers or leave alone, and how easy is it to change the wheel studs for the longer ones supplied with the spacers

needs the correct offset/spacers imho

Wheels are ford fitment, 19X7 4X108 ET 40, not a botch job trying to "make" them fit, I just want it to be perfect

Gay offset alert, like 99% of Cossies.

Top pic is ok, maybe could be 10mm further out or so.

Bottom pic is about 3 feet too far in.

"standard" offset isnt "correct" offset!

Comeon man, they nice looking cars, dont fuck it with a lame high offset!

Tall skinny wheels is a bad enough crime

I perosnally would go for spacer definalty. I think it needs them to be honest, otherwise it wouldnt look right in my opinion. Remeber that aerospeed wheels wont looks as big as the dares due to the design of the spokes and lip though. Still, nice wheels though mate, but as said spacers needed or id get some others.
