Default brake mounting brackets

I will be making a pair of brackets to mount my 2wd calipers with focus rs discs

What i want to know is is 10mm thick mild steel up to the job or do i need something thicker/better

any help would be very handy

that will be plenty strong enough, to be fair mild steel is pretty god damn strong, alot of manufactures like A.P use Alum brackets. so you should be fine bud.

Just don't go to Ford for the discs.... there was a guy selling Brembo discs on RSOC (same discs as Ford just without the Ford tax....lol)
