I was in swansea and i had to pick up a full XR3i interior from walsall, my mate was in the passanger seat on the map (still managed to get lost) and we had to take a non motorway route, was mad got there, shoved it all in the car and then turned around, 7hrs solid and in the pissing rain, but was awesome feeling when i got back. pain in the arse with the back full though couldnt see sod all behind in the rearview.

I'm planning on doing the 1000 miles in 24 hours run late spring of 2008.
If you're *really* bored, click on 'Iron Butt Rally'..........there are some SERIOUSLY nutty people out there.

I've done Paris to Marbella in one hit which I was pretty pleased with. That was well over 1000miles and took 26 hours.
These look quite interesting
It would appear that big-headed Gumballer narcissist, Alex Roy, has driven coast-to-coast accross the States (2874 miles) in 32 hours and 7 minutes

Interesting thread. The furthest i've driven is 270miles. Brierley Hill, West mids, to Hayle, Cornwall in about 8 hours. Had a couple of breaks.
I saw a programme the other night, I think it was called "A long way down" about a celebrity biking from john o'groats to cape town. Its inspired me to do a John O'Groats to Lands end trip and I'd like to do it for charity some day (or two lol)

Once did a trip to Paris with a few from work, worked out at around thousand miles with a couple of hours kip (we got very lost), we were on an exchange trip and the local plod insisted on showing us the night life.
Does not seem much but I was on a ZX7R with the poor wife as pillion.

850 miles is my highest in one day so far for work, and that was non stop, with 2 minutes to pick up and drop off 4 times. I can do 400+ a few times a week but mainly around 350 ish, with probably one or two bad days at around 200 miles. Every now and then ill get a day where i do nothing, and sometimes the odd 100 miler.

did 500 miles from Aberdeen to brunters through the night - did a days testing at brunters then drove home. 1000 mile round trip, all flat out on the way down and back up plus flat out at brunters.
It was a majorly tiring 24 hours.

10K+ Poster!!
I think the longest drive I've done is Budapest to the Nurburgring !
Its about 800 miles iirc maybe a touch more.
We had just driven from London to Budapest via Brussels and Prague so driving didn't seem to much of a issue
