Default WRC can ford take the Manufacturers and drivers champs 2007

Its pretty nailed on that ford have won the Manufacturers championship again this year, and the points standings are Gronholm 104, loeb 100 for drivers champs.

Being Gronholms last year this year i would be chuffed if he goes out on a bang, especially in a Ford.

Two rounds left ireland and wales. Fingers crossed, would be nice to see Ford bring out a special edition also!

Well i would say that loeb should win ireland all going well.As he has done 2 rallies over there this year then i think sum one like sordo or hirvonen could be up for 2nd.

The roads over there will be different to what most drivers are used to.

I am personaly hoping that Loeb wins never have been a gronholm man

I would have thought some of the irish boys shouldn't be to far off the pace.

Will be close to call on GB.

I really want Gronholm to get it, mainly for Ford, but I can just see Loeb getting it again, he's just too good

Gronholm has been over there this year also, but i do feel that Loeb is more suited to the irish stuff! Would love to get out there myself will be an awesome event.

I think this could make the Wales Rally super interesting.

A few people from my area are going and they booked things up ages ago and even then they stuggled to get in anywhare. Think they are sleeping in a mini bus on the thursdat as most bits were wantin £100 just for the night.

Hopefully get over in 2009 when its officialy on the calender either that or o to corsica next year

I WOULD LIKE TO SEE MARCUS DO IT. HE HAS A GREAT CHANCE TO. AS FOR THE SPECIAL EDITION CAR, MARCUS IS STOPPING OFF IN TAIWAN ON HIS WAY HOME TO LAUNCH THE ROAD GOING WRC VERSION FOCUS ST. IT HAS ALREADY BEEN LAUNCHED IN SWITZERLAND. JUST COSMETIC UPGRADES THOUGH

Gronholm was over in Feb,Loeb done Donegal and Cork.He was a bit miffed by the Irish roads when he done Donegal and resorted to a gravel shock on the car As most know all the private cars here be it Subaru or Ford are all being run by the likes of Prodrive ect so they have mountains of data where Citroen dont.More than likely it will be wet so that will make it a rather large can of worms As for dark horses keep an eye for Chris Meeke he may upset a few
Either way should be a good one

Latvala will be Fords No2 next year.

Got told that by a 10yr techy for M-Sport in spain when me and the missus were invited into the Ford vip area and then out on the piss with the lads and Henning Solberg after the rally.

Gronholm will be making a few apearrences next year tho.

Matthew Wilson won't be a Proper Ford man for a god few years yet, even if his dad runs things.

The 2008 WRC calender does'nt include Ireland, but the "provisional" 2009 WRC calender does include Ireland, but no Monte Carlo or Wales!

I'll be going down to Wales on the Sunday as got to work, but will still see some action on the stages, then inside the Ford vip area, then out on the piss with all the lads celebrating the Manufacturers Championship and hopefully the Drivers Championship.

Then off to Sardina, Greece, Turkey, Corsica and Wales in 2008.

I will be following the whole of wales, but in the back of my mates Tranny, and getting pissed in the freezing cold in a forest somewhere.

I hope Gronholm does win it, for his last full season It's very close though, couldn't believe his luck over the weekend, but then Loeb crashing out too Hirvonen deserved the win tho

Ford will do the manufactures' again, too close to call for the drivers, but reckon Loeb will snatch it personally
