Nah it aint your 1st post...its your 4th according to your counter Its entily up to you mate...if you enjoy getting your hands dirty and like to know your car from every nut/bolt/washer then build your own ground up. If done properly at least you'll know it'll have no hidden nasty surprises. If you just wanna enjoy driving a minter and polishing it on a Sunday morning then buy one ready to rock & roll and sell all your other stuff on Fleabay.

Right, this is just a basic guide for posting pictures.........

You need to get them hosted somewhere. If you haven't got your own webspace, you can use this website..... http://www.photobucket.com/ or click on "Uploader" at the top. You will need to register (don't worry, its free).

Upload your pictures and then copy the IMG link of the picture and paste that into your post.

A know what your saying, Ill have a look at mine in the morning.
At the end of the day theres nothing better than knowing you have a solid shell if you build it

Then there's no reason for it not to command the same money as a non-restored car in similar condition. if it's 100% gen Cos shell then put it back on it's original identity when it's rebuilt.

If you legally go through dvla to reshell your old car and try to keep that id, you will lose it & it will go on a Q as per their rebuild rules.
http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring...le/DG_10014246

However if it's a Cos shell then you are rebuilding that car using your old parts. Technically you should also use "two other major components from the original vehicle" but as you bought it as a bare shell that isn't going to be viable so it may still have to go on a Q dependant on what you tell DVLA to get the car back on the road. If you can find the 'original' steering and suspension parts for example.

good luck and get the thread started.
