Why? Got the mk1 and could get the v6, seen some good 2.0 zetec mk1's today

Need a positive direction and to stop thinking maybe this maybe that!!

seeing as it's too big an engine to fit inside a mk escort engine bay i think you are on a hding to nothing

this was recently on the bay and i have seen it in the flesh as top boss did the wiring instal on it a few years ago

pointless, heavy under-powered over-sized engine, expensive to run and won't fit in a fiesta without mega re-working, and then will make a vr6 mk2 golf look like a perfectly balanced car

Stick a Heyabusa turbo engine in it with the sequential box .... or a zetec turbo

Who says its underpowered? The V6 Mondeo I had was just over 185bhp with a few mods, and as for expensive to run, no more so than any other V6,

pointless conversion.... V6 mondeos are cheap as no one wants them, little power for the expense.....

On there mate, it seems pretty straigt forward, seen a couple now and one chop in the ns chassis leg then build the engine to your spec, get the mounts sorted and jobs a good un!
