saw it tonight, thought it was ok better than the last one, very clever but not as good as the first, seems like the blood and gore has took over and they are just trying to shock people with the amount of shit they can show...

Good idea, saves you at least Ł6 each time you go cinema!
But i just end up spending that on sweets and drinks

Have only seen the second one, the most shocking part about Hostel was the fact that the story line could be true and some sick fucks could actually do that.
I like 'horror' films but ones like Saw just look too real and make you cringe and feel a bit sick!

I think with this film they've decided to explain more things... the whats, who, where and why. When we left the cinema there were a lot of puzzled looks and "So...he was doing that...but whyyy?" conversations though lol
Gotta love the ice block death... hahaha I think that was my fave but yes not half as much gore as the 3rd film

part one had a good storyline and it worked because you were expecting to see things that made you cringe but they didn't really happen
it was the anticipation of what was about to befall the traped pair and their struggle through it
part 2 was lots of individuals thrown together and them making things difficult for themselves rather than working together as a team and all getting out alive
part 3 was more closly aligned to part one where the was a story and a moral behind it "do you forgive etc" with the same spin as part 2
and part 4, i'll wait till it appears on sky

Saw it this eve - I thought it was great, but I still don't fully get it Maybe too many beers I dunno It's a thinker, thats for sure....
I loved how it explained a LOT tho, it did a LOT of background info and showed you how it all started, and almost explained why
But it did leave a LOT of loose ends that need to be tied, and I can certainly see at least 2 more coming along to clear this up...
I mean no mention was made of the missing girl (the daughter of the man who the film focus's on in the third film - whose wife (the doctor) dies at the end of no. 3) and nor was there a mention of Eric Matthews (cop that dissapeared at the end of the second one) son who was locked in the safe during the second one.... So there's two ends needing tieing up. Along with the FBI agent and the detective cop from no 4 (those who will have seen it know who I mean)
