Default How do u stop a flask smelling ?

I left some coffee in a flask coz i forgot, it stunk a bit so i cleaned it out with some Flash kitchen bleachy type stuff and rinsed it in boiling water etc...but now it smells of fuckin bleach instead lol..is there anything i can try to neutralize it

I leave mine overnight with boiling water and a couple of teaspoons of bicarbonate of soda in it then rinse it with boiling water again in the morning, seems to do the trick

put a dishwasher tablet in overnight in boiling water without the cao on,then give it a gud rinse out in the morning,always leave the cap off wen not in use.i had this prob once,now i just fill it with boiling water and take a little bottle of milk with me and wateva you drink tea/coffee.

Copy that, the same reslut if you leave a fridge unplugged and the door shut,it goes all fusty.

the smell is a build up of Bacteria in the flask, clean this using a neutralising cleaner then never store with the lid on.

I wouldnt advise bleach at all.

Blimey 27 replies to a thread about a wank topic - im impressed, anyway i used bicarb of soda last night and boiling water, this morning it seems a bit better but i banged some lemon juice and more hot water in today too, so i shall update later - i wonder if i shud rig a webcam up so you can all see

Have a wank in it, put the lid on and bake it for 8 minutes at 200C on the middle shelf.
