what offset "et" is best for a 3dr???

ET40 is uber gay and the wheels will sit miles in the arches.

ET15 is ideal

or ET05 for a laugh

depends on thw width of the wheel, i only have an et 24 on the rear of mine but its a 9" wide wheel so it doesnt look ghey and lost in the arches.

Standard off set is 40 on a 7" wide rim which looks uber ghey.
