standard escos or standard focus rs?

top gear tested them but only done it over the 1/4 mile and the escos pissed it

personally I would think around a track the RS Focus would have the edge

In the dry it'd have to be the Focus. Not sure about the wet Maybe still the Focus.

I was there at Brunters when Steve Scott did a faster lap time in a standard FRS than a stage 3 Escos so there's your answer

escos is about 10-15 bhp quicker but has much more transmission loss through the 4wd system, plus the escort is a lot heavier.

the original question was round a track. id hope the escos would would on a 1/4 with 4wd tho.

get a tiny bit of the wet stuff on the track and see what happens

the focus wouldnt even move from the start line
