Default Anyone able to help with a Saab 9000 cse? *URGENT* updated!

My Father in law bought a Saab 9000 today, good car, but there is a buzzing coming from the dashboard, I've found where the buzzing is, but don't know 'what' it is, I thought I'd put it up here to see if anyone knew, it doesn't look like a factory fitted part but can't for the life of me think what it could be, but it's definately this that's buzzing. It must have some sort of motor on the back that's busted or something.

Anyway, here's what it is...

It's the round 'bullseye' hole thing, under the heated seats buttons...

I'll have to take it out and have a look at the motor then, see if it's dusty or owt, might be why it's making the noise.

Otherwise I suppose a new one will be needed!

Cheers guys..

The heated seats buttons just popped out once I had the clock out, so I'm hoping this thing will be the same...

If it doesn't, then I'll get the angle grinder out I suppose..

It was a few years ago but I'm sure I prised it out of the dash and unplugged it I might have gained access from behind it but I really can't remember.

Ok, I've got the temp sensor out, it did prise out...

Now, I have another problem. The screenwash reservior is leaking... Filled it up, then the light on the dash came up to indicate low fluid level, and I can see it dripping from the front offside corner of the front bumper.

Popped the bonnet, but the reservoir top goes into the front wing, and the reservoir itself must be down there somewhere, but I haven't got a jack to put it up in the air a bit.

Does anyone know where it is and if it can be accessed without taking the front wing off? I fucking hope I don't have to take the wing off just to plug a hole in a screenwash tank...

I can get hold off a jack tomorrow but it would be useful to know now how to access it if at all from underneath.

Any help appreciated!!

Right, I don't think the screenwash reservior is leaking now, I reckon it's purely the way the water runs off from the headlight wash where it falls down to the front bumper and onto the floor... In fact I'm positive that's all it is.. (then again look how many times I've changed the problem inj this post )

The thing is now, the light on the dash is indicating low screenwash level, but there is screenwash in there. So, either a faulty sensor, or...

At the back, there's the high level brake light, and to the right of the lens is what looks like another nozzle for screenwash, but when the screenwash lever is pulled, water comes out the front, and on the headlights, but none at the back, even the back wiper doesn't move. So, I'm thinking there must be another reservoir for the back, but by fuck can i find it, nowhere in the boot that I can see, nothing under the bonnet that I can see. So, anyone who had had one of these can they confirm either way as to whether there was a screewash on the back? If so was it a seperate reservoir?

Again, any help appreciated!!

when you pull the stalk for the screen wash it will only work for the front end

there will be another stalk or sam stalk that you have to pull or push to get the back wiper and screen wash to work

Ok, I'll check that, now it's just a question of which reservoir feeds the back washer, as I can only see the one...
