Always next year!
wonder how well Kimi would have done in his first year in a maclaren.
Wonder how SCHU would have done in 1991 in a williams or maclaren

I'm trying to think where Kimi started, was it Sauber?
Hamilton panicked like fuck at that first corner, why was he even attempting to get that place back off Alonso? it was a stupid decision that bit him in the arse. Being sat behind Alonso at that point still meant him being crowned champion. Having said that, the mechanical problems later on couldnt be helped so he was unlucky. A great drive from the rookie but ran out of time in the end, we'll see how he comes back from it and it should make him more determined next year. Hopefully Mclaren will fire alonso and get a drone driver to sit alongside Hamilton, with Lewis as number 1 (Like Ferrari did in the MSC years.....worked for them)

i was expecting some peraols of wisdom from kimi in the press conference
the man i felt sorry for was massa, he probably could have won it in front of his home crowd but ferrari have more team mentality than maclaren
and get the fuckwit pundits who were saying that if lewis made up a spot the team would ask alonoso to slow down and drop through the field, and, at the same time, telling us that massa moving over for kimi would not be aloowed as "tehre are no team orders in F1"
being patriotic is one thing, by trying to cheat even worse than you are already cheating is just bolloks
although the other commentator did say that if that was the case alonoso would experience "radio difficulties" relating to that call

Testing the future
ron backed the wrong boy in loser lewis - kimi did not win the championship, lewis lost it by being a greedy, arrogant, immature young man
he should have won it in china
regardless of what the team were saying in china, he would have known the tyres were fucked and should have come in earlier. a points finish then would have done it for him, but he had to go for glory
and then in brazil, he only had to stay that one place behind alonso, but couldn't even manage to keep his head and do that. petulant child

then again, i'm not the one who's seen a championship slipping through my fingers
i don't think he would have quit which is probably why he "found" he had his hydraulics again
from what i understand, and i may be wrong here, but if he lost his hydraulics the car wouldn't have gone anywhere other than the gravel trap in whatever gear he was in, to say he couldn't select any gears is what's confused me
perhaps someone would like to explain who you can't get a gear change on a sequential box when you are high up other than neutral

Lewis came 15th when he did it, and he had major finacial backing
Kimi just had a free drive with PDB racing team who used Gillard racing karts
Kimi raced single seaters for 18 months and then was thrown in the deep end... he didnt even race in F3!!!
His talent was immense, he proved his worth in a sauber in 2001 and was napped up by maclaren, he onyl just missed the 2003 championship to SCHU and again to Alonso in 2005, a year where he near enough blitzed alsono but his car broke down about 6 odd times IN front of alonso, not to mention the amount of grid place penalties he had that year also
Lewis on the other had has much experiance from many different single seater series of 6 years, he first drove an F1 car back in 2004 and dennis deemed he was not ready!!! Ron would not let his protege fail after so much time effort and MONEY has been ploughed into him, he had the best car most of this year and performed well as a rookie. You cant compare him as a rookie to the likes of when alsonso, kim or schi started as they were real rookies, starting in Average F1 cars and after 2 or less years from leaving karts... Lewis can only be compared to other experianced racers like Montoya and JV who came into F1 in ''Very good cars'' and with alot of experiance...
Lewis has far from been the quickest man all year, he has only 2 fatsest laps all year in comparison i think to Kimis 7 FL
kimi won 6 races lewis won 3!! its only because of the gay points scoring system that it was so tight
it should revert to the old system which was 10-6-4-3-2-1 which gave the winner a respectable points gap that he deserved from gaining a win!!

why are we all bitching like girls about whos the better driver. simple fact is kimi(im a moody cunt) is champion, but it took a rookie losing his head early on in the race and massa letting him past for him to do it. hamilton will win it plenty of times over his career. maclaren let him down in china by telling him to stay out for a few more laps on knackered tyres and all the crap that went on with alonso etc didnt really help.
yes maclaren spent millions getting him ready for formulae one but wouldnt you if you had a pure talent who is destined for bigger things
