Following the post earlier this week about the block, when i stripped it down i found the main bearing at the flywheel end like this in the picture below. All the rest are 100%, what would have caused this to do it to only one bearing?

Also where is best place to buy new bearings?

Furthest away from the oil pump?

 

maybe there wasnt a good supply of oil getting to it???

 

is the crank straight and true?

 

Yes it was furtherest away from the oil pump. Had plenty of oil in it when i have owned it tho i only got the car 6 months ago. It has a slight mark in it which is getting polished out as we speak.
