omg...just bought a Merc..pic page 3!
..amg e55 kompressor...500bhp 
..books state 476bhp but thats only because the SL55 amg cost 100k has the same engine so for the lessor model merc had to say less bhp!!!!!.Same torque.
..damn its FAST .oh and the active seats 
..when you corner so you dont fall out the seat whichever side blows up ..not to mention the massageing
..i dont wish to brag but this is brutal..oh and it has 8 pot front brakes and 380mm discs
....Rod this is a 200mph PRODUCTION car mate

Nice one, you don't hang around do you! I was watching an old top gear the other day and clarkson was driving one quoting it had 500bhp all the time. He was just dabbing at the throttle in the wet and the esp (or whatever it's called) was lighting up, he said it was pretty lairy.
I'm sure he's got a ps3 (but may well have sold it buy now)

only joking,nice cars.look nice,go well but imo merc dont make a car as well built as they used to anymore..they used to be rock solid build,nowdays they seem to have gone a bit plastic fantastic and followed the cheaper marques way
not that its cheap like a vectra,but you know what i mean.

Body shape is not my cup of tea, but OMG THAT engine . Should have got the SL IMO - you haven't got kids, so don't understand your need for four seats 
?
Also, if you think it is fast, then you should have a go in a proper Cossie .
However, saying that - you'd smoke any small engined turbo car around town, as the response of the AMG engine is just on a different planet and it has more torque than most Cossies have at peak at a lowly 2000rpm . Shame it's such a fat boy and hampered by a slush box - LOVE IT though for what it IS

Only the absolute current model cars (launched in the last few months) can be finally fully disengaged. Obviously there "may" be away of doing it by removing a fuse or something, but you certainly can't fully disengage it by pressing any of the buttons inside the car. It has been a criticism aimed at the Mercs for years, hence why they are trying to catch BMW up with providing proper driver's cars that can now allow the ICD systems to be fully disengaged, and the gearboxes being sweetened up so that they won't change until you ask them to in sports mode etc .

I think its somthing you have to do while the car is connected to the dealer computers
