yes I bought some form halfords, vinyl dash paint I think its called, pulled the whole dash out of my astra and sprayed it black as it was some minging grey colour.
yeah it looks ok, it scratches easy though but I'm sure you'll make a better effort of it what with your job and all
Just thought though its not like crackle/textured finish or owt, just a normal finish, it just ends up like whatever the dash is like underneath but black
Like the dash surround here.... I guess its like crackle paint, but not?!
Do halfords do shit like this, anyone suggest where from please
(And before you say - " shouldnt you be sorting you're fucked headgasket!" its being sorted )
Thanks
If it is the Wrinkel paint stuff i have used, it has to be done @ 25deg's or over other wise it drys Dull and patchy
This is how my resant bits came out (painted then put it into the oven )
The missus was'nt happy but hay ho i needed them to come out spot on so in they went
I'm not sure if that wrinkle/crackle paint is ok for plastics, especially seeing as its got to cure it, you'll just have a pool in the bottom of the oven
