Default escort 'TDI' veg oil?

Basically im looking for a new car and ive decided that i want something economical for now

Can the later intercooled engines be run on a diesel/veg oil mix??

According to Parkers they are faster than my current 1.6 zetec as standard and return better mpg

Thanks

Chris

Graceland has loads of info on this.

Legal as well, as you pay tax on the oil when you buy it.

Smells like a chip shop when you pull up anywhere but mega cheap to run.

The old 1.8 td's can run on it but newer Zetec diesels can not.
