Cosworths with BODYKITS
Quick poll sort of thing...
How many Cossie road cars are there in the UK with aftermaket bodykits?
As good as fuck all id say? (Thank god
)
Probably about 5 Saff Cossie road cars with the PSG Combat kit.
Turbosystems one with Thundersaloon kit.
Wes's has/had an EVO spoiler but std kit.
Alpina's had a GT wing but std kit.
Probably 10 or less Esc Cossie road cars with WRC kit in the UK.
And that dodgy kit on the Taz one, lol.
That it?
3dr/RS500?
Probably less than 10 road cars in the UK with Thundersaloon Kit n thas it?
Anyone else got any views on numbers or know of Cossies with different bodykits on em?
And whats that as a percentage of cars with kits, compared to ones that with the std kit?

Im asking how many are there in the UK compared to std kitted ones (Rouse/RS500 kits dont count

and i seriously doubt if the turbosystems one is still in this country or still on the road as when the owner was selling it he got carjacked at gunpoint

Craig's saff had a 3dr bodykit on it.
Cossy Abuser's old saff had some wheel arch extensions on the fronts - though about the same for mine, so I can run some proper wheels..........

if you look back through old copys of fast ford there are loads of sierra bodykits avab .As the cosworth already had a bodykit in the 1st place why change it.
The rouse kit was fitted for a reason not just looks.

A aerodynamic body styling package the lower lip of the front splitter which extends around to the front wheels to deflect air away from the larger tyres that are fitted.
Developed on the race track,it increases downforce on the front and reduces the amount of air allowed to travel underneath the car to improve straight line stability,It also puts more air through the intercoolerand radiator,aiding the cooling.
The extended sill pannels (side skirts) streamline the bodywork around to larger tyres,a valance is also incorporated into the rear bumper and a slightily larger rear spoiler increases the down force over the rear wheels.

But can anyone answer my question about the number of aftermarket kits you reckon there are on each type of cossie in the UK?

yes it did turn up mate will send out 2moz only picked it up 2day
i put £10 deposite on the another one he has just incase like i said these are hard to get hold off and he wont tell me what model there off
