Dave,

60 psi is 4 bar, 75 psi is about 5 bar.

Sounds ok to me or have I missed something ???????

i mean the oil is sitting at a hotter temp in the sump, making it thinner and giving less pressure.

Its a long shot but was an idea.

Mines is always over 5 bar when i first start it.

today it was 5.2 bar at a 14 deg temp when i started it

my oil very rarley gets to 90 but I would imagine it would be quite low pressure at 900 revs at that temp.

maybe as little as 1 bar?

i got 5 - 6bar at idle when i start it, 2.2 bar idle 60 c and when really cained the arse of might see 90 - 100 c tops and i still got 1.5 bar at idle.

cossiedave i would of thought it will be ur pressure spring/valve that has let ur pressure drop a bit.

sometimes i find that oil pressure gauges are more hassle than they are worth with some people, i had a bloke want me to change the pump in his cosssie because it dropped from 70 to 65 on idle from cold i said he was worrrying to much but he insisted, if the gauge werent there he wundnt of been any of the wiser, i know its useful for most of us but some people worry far to much
