Default Skoda Octavia RS V's Seat Leon Cupra 20v Turbo

Right then....£5000 you can get a 51-53 plate on each car with around 70k mile on, which for them is nothing with FSH

Would you go for the Skoda or the Seat????

As good as exactly the same spec for both cars, they both come pretty loaded to be honest and both are VAG group cars so they are built very well

I think the Skoda is a bigger car than the Seat

But i think it comes down to snobbery tbh

I know which one i prefer but the Missus likes the Seat

Does anyone have any input on either of them that may help swing it

Does the Skoda not handle better? I drove a leon and thought it wasn't as good as the focus and rattled a fair bit too.

Have had a Leon Cupra albeit the 150TDI with Revo upgrade for the last three years. Has been a good car, dealers are shocking though, but I spose you would take yours to a specialist?. Like others have said in your shoes I would probably opt for the VRS. One thing to remember is the Cupra is 6 speed against the VRS 5 speed so depending on your driving style/requirements this is a factor to remember etc. Try a remapped TDI if your looking at Leons - will suprise you

Luv this pic!

Going for it at Donno

Im Just waiting for the delivery of my Octavia VRS Mk11 2.0 TFSI though So have almost had both the cars your looking at

for 5k the octavia will be better specced

your talking about the previous shape leon, which no where near as good looking as the newer versions, FR and Cupra R

built quality on the skoda is better, but depends if you can handle the badge snobbery, as people will take the piss

Get a proper VAG car.... "Volkswagen Audi" Group!
You know it makes sense!

I like both the Skoda and Seat, you look like old bill in the VRS!

For what it's worth i read a buying guide to all 4 vag variants of the floorpan used;golf, a4, octavia, leon, and the leon had virtually the same dash as the a4,so why would an audi be better?
i found the interior of my octavia hire car to be horrible.

The difference is Ford didn't want them using the RS brand name, so they put a V in front of it.

I thought they did an RS version and a VRS version

Ford dont own the "RS" trademark anyway............ Thats why you have a Carrera RS, Audi RS, Skoda RS, ect ect
