Default Sharktooth alloys - keep them silver? or painted black

I bought these saph alloys for my wet tyres, with the intention of having them satin black like my comps and lattices
I hadn't tried them on the car til last night, as i've been waiting for my tyres that were on back order and needed to sort them out before having them painted

Before i'd seen them on the car, i wouldn't have been talked out of having them done in black - but not sure now
They are in quite decent condition, so would be ok to stay as they are or would be easy to prep for painting cos of this - my other saph alloys were perfect as well, so good for painting
The satin black made the MO's look so much better though

What do you reckon

I agree. Silver all the way. Sharktooth alloys look really nice on grey S2's.

Needs to be a few mm lower for looks, but without going too low and ruining the drive.

silver, or you'll loose the look of those tiny spokes, and they'll just look like steels from a distance

Black, deffo, like lattice ones, it hides the fact they awful looking wheels.

If them latice ones were silver itd look like some pikey with a rep, but in blkack they look fine.
Same with the sharktooth, as to most people they some pony things like on tons of base model 90s vauxhalls etc.

Thanks guys

Rab It's on coilovers and can go lower, but think that's it's optimum height up to now to stop the tyres catching on the back - gonna try some different springs to try and stop that

jungleistmassiv that's what i was thinking you see

Stavros i didn't like the lattices at first either, but they were perfect so couldn't not get em but always liked the sharktooths best
I like how the saph wheels fill the arch
Some guy at Le Mans thought it wasn;t a real one anyway it's bad enough taking a old bean tin all that way, but like you'd bother to take a fake one

I personally are'nt keen on 99% of cars i've seen with black wheels. They just don't do it for me. Can't get my head round this "looks hard as nails" stuff. Just my opinion. It's your car though mate and if you like em them that's all that matters
